Matthew did not eat well today. It was as if he's forgotten how. He was very interested in the food but would only chew on the nipple and could not figure out how to suck on it. He was offered 10 ML (about 1/3 of an ounce) at each feeding but has only taken the full 10 ML's once today. He did not seem to have any stomach discomfort and did not poop so we don't know how his body will react to the food yet. If he doesn't go number 2 tonight he's going to get an enema tomorrow. The Barium from the Upper GI test he had on Monday is still inside of him. The Doctors are expecting it to come out looking like little rocks at this point.
Otherwise, he was content and relaxed most of the day. No conversation about Matthew going home before Christmas. It all depends on how quickly he builds up his food intake. He'll probably need to be eating 60 ML regularly before they'll let him go home.
