Finally...

This morning, Matthew suddenly remembered that he needs to suck when he eats. He was able to increase his intake at every feeding today and he made it up to 50 ML at his 9 pm feeding. He will have an x-ray sometime tomorrow to see if he was able to get the Barium out of his system. Otherwise, he's doing very well and he even had a few "movements" today without blood in them. He's still on antibiotics for his Staph infection and they are continuing to wean some of his IV medication. Still no word on when he gets to go home although we're hoping they will surprise us on Christmas Eve and say get out of here. We'll have to wait and see.
