We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. Craig and I went to see the Cubs play at Wrigley on Thursday with Craig's brother and wife. We had a great time. On Saturday, we went to a family picnic for my Mom's side of the family in Canton. Matthew enjoyed all of the attention and had Grandma & Grandpa wrapped around his finger. Our big news is that Matthew started saying Dadda this weekend (what a smart boy to plan that on Father's Day weekend). Craig was on cloud nine all day!

Our big news is that Matthew started saying Dadda this weekend (what a smart boy to plan that on Father's Day weekend). Craig was on cloud nine all day!We had another well baby visit a week ago and Matthew is doing great. His weight is in the 5th percentile but he is steadily gaining. Dr. Christison gave me some suggestions to incorporate extra calories in his day. One is to crush up graham crackers and put in his fruit and crushed club crackers in his veggies. He seems to really like it. We are working on sitting up and if he hasn't accomplished this by the end of the month then we will start physical therapy. She told us this is typical of heart babies and she's not worried about it. We started using a Bumbo (suggestion from Dr. Christison) to help him sit up and it seems to be helping.

On a side note, Taylor started gymnastics and is loving every minute of it. She is so cute in her leotard. There is a ballet class going on at the same time and now she is determined that she is taking ballet too. Maybe this fall - we will see. I wish I had half the energy of a 3 year old.
Nothing else to report. We are doing great.
