Memories . . .

Nothing new to report. We are enjoying our normal life (or what is normal for us now that we have a heart baby). I went scrapbooking this weekend for National Scrapbook Day and worked on Matthew's album. I now have 64 pages done. Craig and I sat and looked through it together last night and what a flood of emotions. It is so hard to believe what has happened over the past 6 months. Matthew has come a long way and you would never know by looking at him that he basically has half of a heart. It's amazing to see how God's hand is over his life each and every day. We have cherished every moment we have with him and have grown a lot together. We truly feel blessed. I would love to share his album with any of you.

Matthew has a cardiologist appt on Tuesday and we are hoping his blood pressure is back to normal and that we can start weaning again. We will let you know how it goes. Hopefully his weight gain is up too! We are going to go visit our hospital family in the PICU while we are there. It's been awhile since we've seen them. Enjoy this beautiful weather!

Glad to hear things are going well. We too just recently looked at our 20mth old preemies newborn pictures and they STILL bring tears to my eyes. However with the tears come happiness thinking how healthy she is now. I really don't recall all the bad NICU days till I look in her scrapbook. God has a way helping us forget those bad memories with healthy baby memories. We'll keep you all in our prayers for a uneventful rest of 2008(you deserve it). P.S Wow-over 60 pages-YOU ROCK! I still haven't finished my son's completely who is now 5.5-LOL! It will get done one day, baby steps.....

Yay Matthew! I'm so glad he's doing so well. God definitely answered some prayers, huh? And you guys are amazing - an inspiration to me for sure!

I cannot believe you have a scrapbook done on top of everything else you've been dealing with! I would LOVE to see it.
