Matthew turned 2 and it is so hard to believe. He is officially a toddler and has lost the baby look. We went to Branson for a couple days with my parents and sister and her family. My niece Alyssa was born 10 days after Matthew so we had one big party at the condo we rented. Here are a few pictures of our trip
A stop at Lambert's on our way down. One of our favorite places to eat. If you've never been we highly recommend it.
Matthew and Alyssa enjoyed a Curious George cake. We had a hard time keeping little fingers out of the icing before it was time to eat!!
Matthew loves football so his favorite gift was a Nerf football that Grandma and Grandpa Orwig gave him. Oh, I almost forgot, Craig's Dad and Jan met us in Branson too! It was so much fun having everybody there.
We went shopping at the Landing and as you can tell it was a little warm for Christmas shopping. The Landing was beautiful and the kids loved the fountain. It was so hard to get a picture where all the kids were looking at the camera so here is the best one.
I loved watching all the nieces and nephews playing together. They get along so well with very little fighting. My nephew gave us a good laugh the day we went to The Landing. There were Christmas decorations everywhere and these silver reindeer's all decorated. When my nephew saw them he was so excited and pointed out that they have Christmas camels here. We all laughed so hard we were crying.
We made a lot of memories but our favorite day was Silver Dollar City. There is nothing like Silver Dollar City at Christmas. The lights are breathtaking. Matthew loved the Caroling train. He is really into Choo Choos so that is the number one thing on his Christmas list. Taylor is wanting a Barbie House and a desk for her room. I'm so excited for Christmas morning. The kids are at an age that it is going to be so much fun. I think I may be more excited than they are.
Well that is a brief overview. I have to start baking. I'm a little behind this year. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
Okay, I will do my best to post some pictures of Christmas a lot quicker. Merry Christmas!
