Matthew had his first playdate with one of his little heart friends (or should I say his first little girlfriend). Isn't she a doll! Matthew & Berkley had so much fun as did their Mommy's. They took great naps so we decided we should get together more often.

We went ice skating later that afternoon with our church and it was a little traumatic for Taylor. Let's say Taylor is not showing real promise in the coordination area. She started kicking her feet and caused Daddy to lose his balance and he sort of fell on top of her. She came up with a bloody nose and fat lip. Daddy felt horrible and let's just say Taylor picked up on it and worked her charm the rest of the day. I had to comfort both Daddy and Taylor. He was devastated that he didn't protect her. I have no idea how he is going to handle those teen years and the day some guy breaks her heart. I feel sorry for that guy. He is such a great father!
Here are some great shots of our Santa visit. As you can tell - both kids loved him. I have to admit he was a little scary. Taylor wouldn't tell him what she wanted and I asked her why. She told me she will just mail him a letter. Who can argue with that. Matthew just cried the whole time and when I picked him back up, he kept looking at Santa with a scowl on his face. Every parent has to have a Santa picture with a crying little one. A mandatory event.

Hope you are enjoying the holiday season and keeping warm.
