Fall Fun . . .

Okay, finally I'm updating with some pictures. We went to Chicago with Daddy on a business trip and had a blast. While Daddy had some meetings, we shopped Michigan Avenue. Lots of fun. We had supper at The Rainforest Cafe. Matthew enjoyed watching the fish while we ate but Taylor was a little nervous with the thunder and lightning so she spent some time on Daddy's lap.

Our next stop the American Girl Doll Store. Let's just say that Taylor and Mommy were in awe! Daddy not so much. Although, the look on Taylor's face was enough to keep Daddy there for almost 2 hours and yes Taylor got her first Bitty Baby. She hasn't slept a night without her and she named her Susie.
I'm sure we will be back for another visit soon. We ended our visit at Millennium Park downtown and Taylor had a ball playing in the water.
On Sunday, we attended our first Annual TOUCH picnic for all the heart children. Matthew was asked to be the child that was used for their press release. Craig and I were interviewed and what an amazing day it was. We ran into all of the other families that we spent so much time with while we were in the hospital. It was an emotional day to see how well so many of them are doing. The picnic consisted of clowns with balloons, blow up jumping things (don't know the technical name), face painting, crafts, a raffle drawing, and lunch. The following picture is of Matthew with Kelly, PICU Nurse Practitioner. She helped us in so many ways while Matthew was going through his tough time and Matthew grew quite a liking for Kelly.

We spent some time enjoying the beautiful fall weather today by going to the park with some friends. Matthew had a ball crawling around in the leaves.

It's not easy trying to get 2 three year olds and 2 babies to all look at the same time but hey they still look cute! For some odd reason, Matthew seemed fascinated with his little buddies ears, Thankfully, Zavier doesn't seem to mind.
Well that wraps up the past few weeks. Thanks for keeping up with our site. Have a great Fall Day!
