More and More Good News . . .

We went to see Dr. Fortuna, Matthew's cardiac surgeon, today. He had to have blood work and a chest x-ray. He has become a pro at getting his blood drawn. Matthew didn't even cry when Kelly stuck him. I think he likes flirting with Kelly, our favorite Nurse Practitioner, so anything Kelly does he just grins and coos.

Dr. Fortuna gave us a glowing report. Matthew looks great and his chest x-ray was perfect. We get to stop the Lasix and Carafate today. Two less medications - Yipee!!! Taking Matthew down on the Clonidine patch has really helped his fussiness. He was full of grins and talking up a storm this morning. We are on the up hill - finally!!! Matthew has been a trooper and flew right past the second surgery with no real problems.

We are going for another walk this afternoon. I will try to post some more pictures tonight or tomorrow. I hope that all of you will get out and enjoy this warmer weather too!
