We hope all of you had a wonderful Easter. We started our holiday by going to the Orwig/Davis Family Easter in Lincoln on Saturday. It was so nice to see everybody and catch up with all of our family that we missed over Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's official - Matthew is most definitely an Orwig (the resemblance with Matthew and our nephew Keith is amazing). I guess he does have his mother's blond hair but that's about it.Taylor jumped out of bed to see what the Easter Bunny left and was very worried that the Easter Bunny didn't leave daddy a basket but he did remember Matthew. The best part of the day was getting to go to church as a family. We have missed being able to take Matthew with us to church and it was wonderful to be able to celebrate the risen Savior with all four of us together.
Taylor could hardly wait to wear her Easter dress. We met Jeanai at Grandpa and Grandma Orwig's house. They we're so excited to show off their dresses. I love having a girly girl.
Matthew was so exhausted after having 2 days out in a row that he slept the whole afternoon and fell asleep tonight before he finished his bottle.
It was an absolute wonderful weekend (even with the snow) and we can't describe how wonderful it was to celebrate this joyful day with our family. Happy Easter!!

I am soo happy to hear all is going well for your family. Matthew looks very healthy-would never guess he's been through all the surgeries. Taylor is adorable, glad to see she got Matthew home in time for her birthday. Wishing you all a relaxing rest of 2008.
