I was feeling a little down after taking Matthew to the doctor today so I asked Craig to write the last post. As the afternoon went on, I caught myself having a pity party from the bad news. Matthew was fussy from not feeling good and Taylor was having a bit of a rough day herself. I laid a crying Matthew down on our bed to get a bottle ready and when I came back Taylor was sitting next to him and I heard her say, "Matthew it's going to be okay, don't cry!" and then she started singing Jesus Loves Me. It brought tears to my eyes as she sang "little ones to him belong". I needed that moment to be reminded that Jesus does love us and that Matthew is very special to Jesus. Sad to say but my 2 year old daughter had to remind me of this but the Lord knew I needed it. I am feeling much better now and wanted to say thanks for praying for us, your prayers are being heard.

Dear Amy,
I hope you don't mind I got her blog spot address from Joyce. I read it all the time. And can relate... Hang in there. Take one day at a time. Things are so overwhelming I know and if you dwell on "issues" too long it will just get you down. Focus on the positives, your kids, family, and friends. And just know that there are so many people out there praying for you, even those of us you don't know. Also, take comfort in knowing that God is in control. You won't have to make the tough decisions because He already knows the plan He has for Matthew, what he has to endure, how fast he will recover, and what he will be doing years from now. Our job is just to love our kids and teach them of His love. We love you guys. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear to vent to, a reassuring comment...PLEASE I am begging you to contact me. I would love to chat any time, day or night :) My email is tjgerst@Hotmail.com
Praying always - Jill
