Reflux Problems...

Matthew's reflux problem has progressed to the point he's starting to refuse his food. We've focused so much on caring for and protecting his heart that we just didn't realized that reflux was going to be such a big problem for him. His fussiness has subsided somewhat (probably had a cold) but now when we feed him he'll take the first ounce or two, but after we burp him he refuses to eat more. We can actually hear the reflux enter the back of his throat and start to choke him.

He's been on the maximum dose of Prevacid for a while and his pediatrician just put him on Zantac to also help with the problem. His pediatrician asked us to bring him in a noon today so she can check him out. We're fearful that he's starting to get dehydrated and will be admitted to the hospital again.
