They are just starting to sterilize Matthew's room (the whole thing will be done right in his hospital room). The closing process should be done by 8 pm. Please pray that he handles the procedure well.

We met you while attending the Washington Day dinner with the Greims a few years ago. Just wanted you to know that our family is also praying for you all. Susan Day
Craig & Amy, i just talked to jennifer about the latest surgery update, and I was thrilled to hear that Matthew is doing so wonderful! I will keep you all in my prayers for a continued speedy recovery. (P.S.- Craig your boy is a stud!) love to you all, D.Kim :)
Welcome to Matthew's Road. This is the story of one little boy's journey with Congenital Heart Disease.
Even before entering this world Matthew was diagnosed with multiple heart defects including Hypoplastic Right Ventricle, Tricuspid Atresia, Atrial Septal Defect, Ventricular Septal Defect and Transposition of the Great Arteries. During his first surgery it was also discovered that he had Coarctation of the Aorta and a Right Subclavian Artery made up of Ductal Tissue.
The purpose of this web site is to chronicle the road Matthew must travel in order for us to get to be with him in this world. It's as much therapy for his mom and dad as it is a way to provide regular updates for friends and family.
